New Boston Reading Series

The Plough & Stars Poetry Series
featuring Edmund Berrigan & Sean Cole

We are pleased to announce the inaugural event in the Plough & Stars Poetry Series, to be held at this recently renovated historic Cambridge watering hole, The Plough & Stars, 912 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, near the Central Square stop on the Red Line.

Edmund Berrigan lives and works in New York City. He is the author of Disarming Matter from Owl Press, 1999; and most recently Your Cheatin' Heart, from Furniture Press. He also performs music under the guise I Feel Tractor.

Sean Cole is a reporter at WBUR Radio in Boston. His radio stories have aired on several nationally syndicated public radio programs including This American Life, Only a Game, All Things Considered, Marketplace and Weekend America. He is the author of The December Project from Boog Literature, 2005; he has also released two short collections of poetry, By the Author (Boog Literature, 1999) and Itty City (Pressed Wafer, 2004).
